Job Summary:

PVI Office Furniture depends on this Furniture Installer & Delivery Associate to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless, stress-free experience for our clients. In this position, you are our company’s greatest selling point.

Overview of Position:

  • Unload and check in materials for incoming shipments and match them with purchase order numbers.
  • Inspect and report any damaged products immediately to the Supervisor.
  • Move items from the receiving area to the designated storage area.
  • Pull orders for the next day based on delivery ticket numbers, place items in the truck loading area.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
  • Review manifest and verify all packages are loaded in the truck.
  • Inspect truck before and after deliveries, and report to the supervisor.
  • Drive and park our fleet following the location’s parking requirements.
  • Unload and deliver products according to customer specifications.
  • Communicate with the warehouse during the day regarding any discrepancies or issues.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager. Comply with a corporate culture of teamwork to achieve the goal of efficiently producing a quality product.

Qualification Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Good communication, organizational, and mathematical skills
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Able to work overtime hours as needed
  • Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry, and basic computer skills required
  • Experience driving 18 ft. and 24 ft. trucks (non-CDL)

Physical Demands & Abilities:

  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 pounds; occasionally lift and move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance for periods
  • Able to operate sit-down forklift and standup order picker (training provided)

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position. Overtime may be required at times.  Pay rate based on experience.
